Alice 3D practice

The nice people at Daz have made the entry cost for getting into 3D Digital stuff pretty darned cheap (IE: Free). So I've been watching the content sale and playing around with the tools, learning my way around the interface, getting the lay of the land, as it were.

So, anyway, this is a (fairly crappy) render of Alice from Alice in Cyberland (you've seen her elsewhere in this gallery). The set is just the default set from Daz 3D Studio, with a few pieces of wardrobe from a couple of content bundles. I don't expect it to be professional quality, as I am literally teaching myself, here.

But! On the upside, the face, the hair, the proportions are all correct (Thanks to the magic of morphs). So now I just need to figure out how to save the figure as an Actor and I'll have Alice available at the push of a button.

I don't expect to ever be as good as my friend Philip ( ), but hey, maybe one day I'll actually be able to create my own content and scenes. That's be boss.
